Garrykennedy

Killaloe Garrykennedy

Garrykennedy is approximately 20 km from Killaloe, on the eastern side of Lough Derg, and is a very quaint village with a lovely forest walk, great views of the lake, fishing, an ancient castle and a wonderful eatery.

Please note that this route is graded 'Hard' because it includes some fairly steep climbs and descents in the Arra Mountain range. If you are able to manage these, it will be well worth the effort!
