Travel a quiet back road through the hills to Tuamgraney, where you can visit a chocolate factory or a woollen mill, before continuing on to Scariff for a visit to a craft centre and/or a coffee. Return to Killaloe via the Lough Derg shore, passing through the forest road at Aughinish.

Explore the banks of the Shannon at the Southern end of Lough Derg. The tour starts in Ballina, before crossing the Shannon at O'Brien's Bridge to view Parteen Weir. Finally returning to historic Killaloe via the hills of County Clare.

Inis Cealtra (Holy Island)
Depart from Killaloe or Tuamgraney, exploring the western shore of Lough Derg before sailing to the historic monastic island of Inis Cealtra (founded in the 6th Century). Then return to the shore and cycle back to your start point.
