The Lake Shores - 2.5 hour tour
This tour takes you to the beautiful villages as well as quieter spots on the shores of Lough Derg.

The tour is 2.5 hours.
You can book your slot at the Nenagh Tourist Office, or online. Guided tours must be purchased in advance, by close of business the day before.
We have a maximum of 6 people per tour
The tour begins from the Nenagh Tourist Office, although it can also begin from your accommodation by prior arrangement, within 20kms of Nenagh. Tour route may vary depending on the start point.
Highlights
Garrykennedy
Visit the Lough Derg shore at beautiful and historic Garrykennedy. Here you will find a harbour, a castle and beautiful woodland. You can also pause for refreshments at the coffee van or at Larkins pub.
Youghal Quay
Visit a swimming spot used by local people.
Quiet Roads
The route takes you on quiet roads through the North Tipperary countryside.
More Information - Lake Shores Tour
This tour takes you to some of the beautiful spots on the shores of Lough Derg.
Depending on your starting point, the tour takes in either Youghal and Garrykennedy or Dromineer.
The tour starts and ends in Nenagh, and is suited to cyclists of all abilities. There will be an opportunity for a coffee/tea break at Garrykennedy or Dromineer (cost not included in the price of the tour).
Please note that the tour can also begin and end at your accommodation, by arrangement.
