Medieval Historic Sites Tour
This tour is suitable for all levels of ability. Groups are a maximum of 4 people and is suitable for all ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
Setting off from your accommodation with your tour guide Rob you will first eBike to Knigh Cross, where you will hear the stories behind the 15th century castle and church. The castle was part of the holdings of the powerful O'Kennedy family. The church can be explored, and includes the famous Calib Minnit gravestone, which not only states when and where he was murdered, but names his killers.
Next you will continue on to Dromineer, where there is another O'Kennedy castle, from the 13th Century, along with a church which dates back to at least the 12th century.
Finally you will return to Nenagh where you can explore the Abbey and the Castle, both of which were founded in the 13th century.
The tour includes around 90 minutes of cycling, with frequent breaks while you visit the churches and castles.
For confident cyclists who are happy to add a further hour of cycling to the tour, you can also visit the 12th Century Kilbarron Abbey and the 16th Century Annagh Castle, with tales of the 6th century explorer who founded the abbey and the former owner who is said to still wander the castle guarding his treasure! If you prefer not to cycle that far, Rob can tell you how to get there by car on another day.

Scenic Lake Shore Tour
This tour is ideal for all levels of ability. Groups are a maximum of 4 people and is suitable for all ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult).
Setting off from your accommodation with tour guide Rob you will eBike on quiet country roads through the North Tipperary countryside to the lake shore at Youghal. This is a popular local swimming spot.
Where you go next will depend on how far you wish to cycle. For beginner cyclists, you will next head to Garrykennedy. Or if you are more accustomed to cycling you will next head for the hills to spectacular lake views at the Lookout, followed by lake views, a castle and a church at Castlelough, before eBiking to Garrykennedy via lovely forest roads.
At Garrykennedy, you will be able to explore the beautiful harbour village, which includes a 15th Century castle. If you wish, you can leave the eBikes behind and explore the woods. Or you can just relax with a coffee or a snack, and take in the lake views!
Finally you will return to Nenagh with Rob via quiet back roads.
